Create a Character Concept
Create a general idea on who you want your character to be and pick a race.

Roll for Starting Abilities
Go straight down the skill list rolling one skill at a time. Once all skills have been written down you can only switch with one ability with another.

Pick one of the following backgrounds and add their modifiers to your character sheet. Please keep in mind these are race specific.

Then roll 2d6 to see what your ability is from the specific background benefit table. ( Do this twice. You can’t have two of the same.)
Picking a class will tell you what your Primary abilities, secondary abilities, health, your starting weapons group and class powers are.

*This area will also tell you what you gain by leveling up (1-5)

Everyone starts with a Backpack, travelers garb, waterskin and 50 silver + 3d6.
*Mages get 1 weapon and a wand.
*Rogues get light leather and two weapons.
*Warriors get heavy leather and three weapons.
*If you chose a Crossbows/bows they automatically come with 20 bolts/arrows and a quiver.
*For those who have a shield talent you get a medium shield. However if you do not have the Shield talent you will only receive +1 from any shield.

Defense: 10+Dex+Shield Bonus
|Dwarf= 8+Dex-Armor Penalty||Elf = 12+Dex-Armor Penalty||Human = 10+Dex-Armor Penalty|
Charge = Half your speed (add +1 Attack to roll)
Run = Double your speed
Names and Goals
*Create a name for your character (Suggestions on PH31)
*Create Goals and Ties for your character: Long and short ones.
